I figure some are bored with these aged threads,
Seems like it anyway.
Something new to chew on,
www.youtube.com/watch
Take from it what you will.

Do you recognize and remember all of them?
P.S.
I apologize to those with slow dial up.

They change our perceptions of what is and what is not.
They give your mind something to chew over, think about, and thus you make decisions based on new information.
If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it does it still make a sound.
Yes.
But by hearing it, seeing it you are aware that it happened and choose your path in a new light.
A mind can not flourish in a vacuum.

Maggie,
Do not be depressed.
This is from the past, look forward instead and tell me you would do things differently.
Moons.
P.S.
Maggie I thought your joke was funny, sorry I did not comment.
Just looking for something else.

Thanks Moons, makes one stop and think...
Moments frozen in time, images of the fight for all of the freedoms won, as mankind tries to find the right to live free. So much sorrow so that we can have the happiness that comes from that freedom. Unfortunately, there are still places where the fight has just begun. Each and every one of us should realize what was sacrificed, what it took to make this, the United States of America, the model for freedom throughout the world. Instead of fightting, one side against the other, we should stand together, still united even though we disagree on issues. Some may have an unrealistic fear of government, some an unrealistic trust, and the truth lies somewhere in between. Our founders warned us to be wary, that they were there to serve us, not the other way around. It has come full circle, we are losing rights on a daily basis in order to protect us from ourselves. It's a shame that we have not learned from the past because, yes, we are destined to repeat it.
Peace.

Quite disturbing in a poignant way. It forces one to come to terms with the truth. Sometimes remembering, even the horrific scenes, will encourage some to attempt to mitigate the chaos and pain in the present. Wouldn't peace be wonderful?
Thanks, Moons. I especially appreciate your statement, "A mind cannot flourish in a vacuum".

We are bombarded with images everyday, sometimes they carry more weight than words.
I tried to find images of heroes saving lives, doing great works of good.
They are harder to find.
Not that they do not exist.
No one takes the time to gather them because they are everywhere, we see them everyday.
If anyone finds such images please share them.
If you look at the related videos there are many.
I train my dogs, live my life regardless, but I also reflect and have deep thoughts.
Maybe its due to some of the threads I read here...LOL
Anyway its been gloomy and rainy and I had the time.
