This is a public service announcement...
In a press release today, the National Institute of Health has announced the discovery of a potentially dangerous substance in the hair of certain types of working dogs. This substance, called "Amobacter canidae" has been linked with the following symptoms in females:
Reluctance to cook, clean or do housework.
Reluctance to wear make-up, nice clothes or heels.
Reluctance to spend money on home or car repairs until after "Fido has a new agitation collar, crate, bite sleeve, tracking harness, premium food, and a new tug".
"Amobacter canidae" usually results in long hours away from home and exhaustion which may lead to a loss of physical contact with other humans (especially husbands).
"Amobacter canidae" is thought to be addictive, driving the need for additional sources - this may lead to a "pack mentality" or like the potato chip commercial, "you can't have just one". Beware! If you come in contact with a female human infected by this substance, be prepared to talk about dogs for hours.
Surgeon General's Warning: Working dogs can be expensive, addictive, and may impair the ability to use common sense.

My only concern is that they didn't issue the warning to men as well, from experience i know first hand that men are just as likely to be infected as women and anyone who says otherwise... Well.. let's just say they are in denial.

Cool it, Raymond, or please don't post here. It doesn't benefit anyone to make such statements, and it doesn't glorify God, something you seem to feel is your duty. Try leading by example.
vhsdogs, I like it. Although I am not involved in protection work of any kind, I believe that I may be infected with a variation of that substance, one only found in the hair of GSDs in general. It leads to many of the same symptoms outlined above in your post, except for reluctance to spend money on car or home repairs till Fido has whatever. Also, the common sense part stays intact, but I do suffer from an excess of need to talk dogs, which drives my hubby nuts.

Raymond, you still haven't found the way to peace and contentedness, huh? One notices how you despise strong-willed women, maybe because they just don't need a man. Especially a weak-willed specimen as yourself? I do hope you find the will soon, to get the help you need.

Raymond,
Wow, your hatred and disdain for woman proves what a misogynist you are. That comment was really uncalled for. If it was your attempt at humour you really need to work on it, because it was disturbing and not at all funny. You need some serious help. You are carrying around way too much hatred. As I've said to you before I hope you do not treat people like this in person. Because if you do you will be very lonely.
You should probably seek professional help if this is how you really feel. Please remember that children may also be on this forum to learn about raising their dogs and shouldn't be subjected to this type of hatred and abuse, IMO.
