I am okay.

Sorry I have not been writing much lately. Trying to stay busy waiting for a relatively important court hearing I am supposed to attend in person next week. I've kinda been waiting for something interesting and positive to post.
Its coming. Its just taking a little longer than I had hoped. I hadn't planned on seeing the "fall  color" here in the East this year. LOL
The good news is that the worst winter in the CA Central Valley is still WAY WARMER than the warmest winter in PA. LOL

More good news. The cost of a 26' Rental Truck from Penske hasn't gone up hardly at all in the ten years since the last time I drove across the country.

Krazy Bout K9s

by Krazy Bout K9s on 23 October 2009 - 00:10

Sorry Guys,
I have not been doing the best lately, I think someone is out to get me...
I was working on my woodshed, had a friend helping and he got on the ladder to pound some nails up high. When he got down he left the hammer on the ladder, I turned around on my blind side, bumped it and grabbed the ladder and voila, the hammer fell on my head hard, bad side, another sore spot and headache for awhile...
Then last week, hauling in my retired K-9 that no one else can handle from the kennel. It was dusk and since I can't see, very well, no depth perception. I fell in a hole in the yard tripped over Adis heeling along side of me and blew my knee out...
At least he was there to use as a crutch or I would have layed outside all night in the cold. He let me use him as a crutch and hop to the house...LOL...
So now I am a one eyed, one legged Montana Bandit!!!!
Crutches, knee brace, and black eye patch...LOL...
Too many dogs coming in again...
Take care all, and thanks for asking...
Steph

BTW; I just got in a gorgeous, 7 yr old female, retired Border Patrol Belgian Malinois, that is great with kids and cats...and a real snuggler...see my website... I wish I didn't have so many of my own...I would keep her...she is that awesome...   www.montanagsdrescue.org

Hugs and prayers to both of you during these difficult times.  Steph!  What am I going to do with you?  Maybe you can contact an Indian medicine man to come drive the bad spirits out.  You definitely need some good luck.

Steph, I know  you love the dogs, you need to quit taking them in right now, and take care of yourself. there comes a time when you have to think of yourself first then you can reach back out. It is not fun being hurt. If your going to insist on taking them, tell them I will take the dog, but I want a cord of wood, the next one tell him you want a deer ready to freeze for dog food. You get the picture.

I'm with 1doggie Steph. Winter is almost here and you need to kick back and get well.

Gosh Steph, I think you have enough injury, that makes three. No more already. Last weekend Jami was on the long line ( she really does not need it anymore)  she had done a very good job and I wanted to end on high note in training. The line was rapped around my feet and I threw her ball.  I think they call it handler error. It really rang by bell. The ground sure is hard when you fall really fast.  Steph are you going to have a retirement home for old dog handlers too? :)))
Always,
Cee
