I own Kenai Jipo Me so he is in the netherlands (europe).
And yes the info is correct he is dysplastic, i had him x-rayed at 7 months and all was looking great, had him x-rayed at 13 months and the vet said should be an HD A then at 19 months i went for the official x-rayes and his right hip was damaged, left was excellent, my vet told me it was trauma to his hip, and if anything happend, yes he run into a tree at full speed, so thats probably the cause, but whatever happend his right hip is not good so he is dysplastic!
But untill now he has no problems so we are are still training and he can do all the things including the jumps so we keep on going!

pientie good job on working your dog. I agree with you 100% work him till his hips give in, I think any one with dog with HD would be doing unjustice to the dog if it would just stop working him, our dogs were breed to work. Some dogs have high pain trashold and will work till they can't move no more. At times I worry about my girl hips, but than I remeber how she acts when I don't let her train, so I know I am doing the right thing by just working her. Our TD recently said that we should get the hips done before we start working our dogs, my respond to that was, I don't care what her hips are like I will work her till she shows me she can't do it no more.

If one hip is good and other is not good then the good one is reflecting genetics and the other one is environmental. Since thew hips are created geneticaly and never get better only worse due to environment. Usually it is the left one which is bad because most dogs are "right handed" and thus the strong leg is the opposite to that. In this case it is the right leg which got injured and all preliminary x rays were without problem. I would consider this dog to be OK and if exceptional worker I would not have problem to breed to him.
You may want to study this article which supports my statements.
