Came across this little web page that has 25 Hero dog and what they did.

Out of the 25, 3 or 4 were GSD's or GSD crosses........big percentage.....COOL!

Four that were identifiable as GSD or cross. What amazing creatures these dogs are.

The last story rather annoyed me @ the actual owners of the dog....

"Hero’s previous owners have signed him over to the Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society since the Jan. 26 accident because he kept wandering off."

Fortunately as many as 50 people have applyed for him, including being evaluated for work in S&R

Did you guys read the story about TrakR..The Sept 11th hero. He is number 12 on the list.
