Just wanted to share some pretty pics we took today. Enjoy.

My daughter working with her dog Boudica

Our latest attempt at getting a useable photo of Boudica. By the way, I'd love our more experienced board members to critique her. Is she going to V? She is 22 months. Here is her pedigree: www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/540778.html

Headshot of my Aila

The girls on our pier (this one might be a framer!)

And this one isn't outdoorsy, but too cute not to share. My Aila with our new kitten Tundra.

KCzaja,

I'm not experienced enough to critique her but she looks really good to me!
Also, LOVE the girls on the pier!  That is a framer!

Why of course she is going V,, look what she comes from and you have done well with her... watch her weight!!!!!!!

YR, she is actually quite thin. Like her mother, she is strongly built with a lovely coat and looks heavier than she really is. She weighs 65 pounds. Her mother is a mack truck, I had to keep her so thin when I was showing her it depressed me when I bathed her to see how thin she was...and the judges still called her too heavy! I was glad so retire her.

Yes, when they have her body  type they look because of the coat so big until you do get them wet...I have had that happen and was embarrassed at how thin when wet.... I have a cocker spaniel with heavy show coat and he weighs a ton , lol. but when you wash him he looks boney...

I have pmed you one of my boys who has similuar pedigree and I bred him to a Jada v Steffen Haus gr granddaughter with his lines and the females were gorgeous....

Wow, she really is breathtakingly gorgeous.  I can't imagine her NOT "v"ing.  I am not experienced enough for my vote to count, but to my eyes she is exactly what a GSD bitch should look like.

Beautiful girl!  I love the pier pic, it's a keeper.

Thank you so much, sue! I don't like them extreme. Pretty to look at is well and good, but her temperment pleases me most of all. I'd like her to have more energy in her work, she is not nearly so fast as most working folk like, but her nerves are solid as a rock, her drives strong, and she is VERY protective of my daughter!  She'll have a grip like her mother, I think. Hopefully her xrays turn out well and we can use her for our breeding program. :)

I also do not know much but she sure is beautiful and sounds like she can work too :)))))
Always,

Kelly,
that photo on the pier is just super nice. You should enter that in photo contests and I bet it would be a winner!
The kitten is precious. What is she?  I hate to admit it but I am a cat lover and did not know it until about 2 years ago when I got my sweet girl Gracie!
Boudica looks beautiful. I don't see why you would not get a V-rating. But as you know in the show ring it is all about gait and then gait again, especially in the working classes. So, train and train and train. Easy for me to give advice but we are in the same boat. We are showing our black boy this Saturday for his debut in the workingclass ring. He just turned 2 years old a month ago.
Chris
