I am not sure how many people are on here from the Vancouver area but I am looking for a supplier of some large beef and/or buaffalo bones. Where can I get some?

you might try Tracy Bullinger? I know she uses them, but I don't know how large her supplier is.  www,bullingershepherds.com

I was hoping to find something a little more cost effective.

I don't know what she pays for them. Did you ask her?

I believe I had seen prices on the website before.

Have you tried any meat cutter/butcher shops? Maybe you already have, but if not, you could try seeing if they would be willing to do a custom order for you. I've not had the best of luck getting nice meaty ones but I am also in northern BC so I'm pretty geographically limited and most of the bones here are really bare.

Barring that, Red Dog Deli in Vancouver may be a good place to check out. They also have a website you could google that lists all their products - large meaty beef bones were on the "menu" last time I checked but I'm not sure what the prices are.
Good luck!

Any one know where you can get them anywhere on the Kansas - Missouri border?

Authobahn, There is a raw/organic etc pet food store in Vancouver that is owned and operated by two schutzhunders who are also friends of mine. PM me your email addy and I will pass it on to them, so they can contact you. There is another store specializing in raw meat for pets in the Cloverdale area on rte 15 North, just after it crosses Hwy 10 on the right side of the road. It is near the Agri-Plex.

Tracy's Common Sense raw dog food- www.commonsensedogfood.com/
Best dog food available anywhere, and yes, she does carry buffalo bones.

My dog was fed Common Sense for awhile. There are too many carrots in it and I know dogs who have gone off of it before. For what you get, I do not believe price is worth it. $65 for 30lbs or whatever it was is a lot. I can get 60lbs of ground meat/bone/organ already in 1lb plastic chubs for $57, add in my own supplements and veggies for under $10 and that will last me two months. Add in some turkey necks and chicken backs and you can stretch that a little bit.
