Hee! Very impressive. DQ'd across the board, but I like him too!  Not a dog your helper wants to take his eyes off of or let his mind wander!

Oh my!  I would have to say thumbs down on this one!  Poor grips, absolutely no control, nice speed on the long bite but then it all falls apart there too IMO.  Barb

What do you like about him ?

It´s a sport about controlling your dog in theses situations and the handler clearly does not have full control.

I reckon that's a pretty dangourus toy !

I should have included this link to video of him from earlier this year  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcZgvoUHETU

I have no problem with this dogs grips in this video, I do like his power,  fight and his drives, evident in both videos.  He obviously has control issues what with the molesting and the outing and the cheap shots, quite possibly those are training issues,  nevertheless and regardless, he is explosive and very exciting to watch.

He's a crowd favorite for sure and obviously enjoying himself.
I do like this dog. I watched both videos and his OB video as well. Sure he needs some work and has some problems but I like his power, intensity and willingness. Maybe he will never be a "points" dog. Some dogs aren't and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Well if you like power check out the WUSV video of Sartoris Gator.  At this level there is no excuse for bad training, poor control, shallow snippy bites when power and control are certainly more than possible.  Sure it is a fun video to watch and he may be a game dog but that rings no big bells for me.  Barb

That's what separates the men from the boys.  How much dog is left after you fix all of the "training" problems?  Years back some of us posed the question to Jan Kokx, compare today's dogs with dogs past?  His answer was different than you would have thought.  He felt that dogs today are better than what was being produced 30-40- years ago.  His reasoning, training has become more precise, points harder to come by.  In order for dogs to take the amount of pressure we put on them to squeeze the amount of points we crave in all 3 phases, there's got to be something there.  Interesting, most of us would have thought that question would have brought the answer, "dogs were much stronger back then".  Try and add 20 points to a 77 point "B" phase and see what's left of your track.  Fix "outing and cheapshot" problems and what's left of your grips.  It's a juggling act, and to me the most difficult task in dogsport, "V" all 3 phases at a big event.  How many at this year's WUSV?  None.

Well said Phil, and definitely something to consider, who knows if this dog would be able to handle the pressure necessary to pull up the points in his ob as well as to bring him under better control, maybe, maybe not.  I don't know this dog, so I can't say one way or the other with him.   I can say on the other video he displayed better control and a much better grip, though he was still molesting the decoy.  I haven't seen his OB video.
