Hi
Not long been back from Germany to see the WUSV, I did not take down a lot of results as i had to get home before dark to feed the Pigeons and see to the Dogs so it was impossible to stay after 4.oclock in the afternoon Anyway i am off back there on Sunday a little earlier as i want to see some early Obed and Protection so want to be there by 7oclock in the morning a big ask but must do it
Here is some results of the USA team
D.Cox Tracking 98 points
M Diehl Protection 96 points
P Kovach 90 points Obed
the other two Guys had an 88 and 82 intghink i am correct
------------------------
The Belgium team only three Guys Played today
Ronnie van den Berghe COMO, my IZZYS Daddy 97 Points Tracking
Bert Aerts Protection 95 points Protection
Fredrick V 91 points Obed
----------------------------
So both teams have a good start, I did speak and have a nice chat to Peter Kovacks USA after his Obed Phase, He said he was pleased and had enjoyed himself, a very nice Guy and I hope he goes on to have a good Trial
His Dog was very attentive towards its handler and he did a first rate job,
I can honestly say that the Judges were giving nothing away and all points earned were on simply Merit,
That is my opinion on what i saw , of course some may not agree with me

"I can honestly say that the Judges were giving nothing away and all points earned were on simply Merit" ---- As it SHOULD be in all trials whether a club level or world level.
When I am on the field I chat with the judge beforehand and ask him/her for a huge favor (that gets a startled look - WhAT favor?) - Give me NOTHING and ding and pencil down on the paper everything that I or the dog mess up. Only way to move forward.

Ok, I have to ask, what the hell is a PRAT?

Adi
It is an Engish term, For someone who thinks they are being clever and sarcastic by saying something that is not needed
So i said to you something i should not have done
So that makes me look a Prat, and in that case i was

Well, I actualy AM (or I think I am) clever and sarcastic, at times, so I guess I am a prat. Funny, I have never heard that expression before in my life - you English people sure are quirky.
Back in the early 90s, when I was in my 20s and backpacking around Europe, I hooked up with some English girls. They were a rowdy bunch, which suited me great at the time and I hit it off with one of them. Well, I used to hit it off with a lot of them back then, but at the time it was Britts.
So, I was a "tosser this and tosser that" while we were hanging out... I had no clue what the hell a tosser was.
Only after I nailed her I learned what a tosser was the next day, so sure enough I turned out to not be one.
Alright then, it' almost 2 AM, time for bed.
