I had a 40# shepherd/sheltie mix. At the age of one year, she developed an allergy where she licked all hair off belly and tail. Her tail became scabbed over. After visiting the vet several times, she eventually was put on steroids. This was continued for almost two years (with no relief) till I met a pet shop owner who gave me the following advice: Take her off all medication, give her nothing but water and Solid Gold Hundenflocken, and you should see a difference in about eight weeks. My dog went for seven days without eating anything (stubborn) and soon, her hair began to grow in. I never had another health problem of any kind. She passed away at the age of fourteen. My new pup is now on Solid Gold - I swear by this product.
