The german shepherd puppy must be male.
Not neuterd, and 5 moths or older.
The breeder must live in arizona.

Thank you,

There are many breeders that can help. You could try Hans (Prager on this board), lives near Pheonix and may be able to get you going in the right direction. www.alpinek9.com He is very knowagable and and answer all of your questions.

Please have your dog's hips and elbows certified dysplacia free and get a title BEFORE breeding.

How come people state you must get your dog titled before you breed a shepherd. I know many breeders who say this but still breed dogs that are not titled. Two way deal, I guess. Schutzhund is a sport. Puppies are a crap shot, we all know this. If titling a dog makes the puppy better than why are there mixed dogs getting SchH1 titles. Heck, you can buy titles. Enough with the "must get titled" attitude people. Schutzhund is a sport just as the AKC rallies are. I can name some place that sell over 40 pups a year at 2500-3500 each and have no titles but no one ever knocks them down. They even breed before 2 years of age. Hips and elbows should be done regardless if you are gonna breed or not. JMHO Kel

And you base this on... his political views? or what?  I would get a pup from Alpine K9 in a flash.

Kell:

Actually Schutzhund was a breed worthiness test before it was a sport. The sport has killed what the trial is supposed to be about, the trial has been dumbded down to it,s current form. A good breeder will still title his dogs for breeding but yes there are many different things to take into account when looking for a pup or to do a breeding. I have seen dogs do extremely well in the sport that should never be breed,I,ve seen dogs that have everything it takes to complement the breed and never been titled.

I good trainer and breeder will put his dogs thru many different forms of work to get a true understanding of it,s value as a breedable dog.

Nothing to do with his views on anything.....just better avenues for getting a pup! Plain and simple!

I am just looking for a stud. And that will not be in till a year. I want a perfect match for my dog any the stud must be a balanced and good behaved dog.

Now that stud owner will also get the first pick of puppies. If you want more than one, then we can disgust that later on.
And also if you don't have a stud but are interested in a puppy than contact me.

The prizes for one puppy would be around the $300 mark.

Thank you,

-Nicky

A working title, any kind of "working title" SAR, Herding, sight dog, tharapy dog, bomb sniffing are all "working titles".

IMO - GSD's are a working dog,

Max thought they needed to prove that they could work he created the breeding test we all know as Schutzhund. Its a very tridational title for GSD's. It hasn't changed all that much from the old 1930's videos that can be seen on you-tube.

Yes other types of dogs, even unregistered and mixed breed dogs can compete in Schutzhund, since it has also become a sport, but that's a different subject, this person is looking for a GSD puppy to use as a future breeder........not a mix puppy, right?

A GSD with a "workig title", effectivly means the dog is "trainable" and has some degree of "athletic ability" or other ability that is required in order to attain whatever specific working title it earned.

Yes, just becasue a dog has a working title, doesn't mean it is of breeding quality.

Without working titles, these dogs will eventually become half witted showdogs that don't have the common sence God gave a rock. And that would be a shame!

JMO...........
