Does anyone have any knowledge of this? A Stud Dog named Jake V Hoffenmiller, born in Michigan out of my stud dog Igor Von Haus Cimmerian, has received his hip and elbow rating a-normal with SV Germany after his name with RuffGSD Kennel out of Arizona. Does anyone know how this is done? I'm curious, I've only dealt with Orthopedic Foundation For Animals.

My dog was born in the USA and I will be submitting his films for a-stamp ratings through the WDA.

My dogs have always received an "a" stamp from Germany via USA.

Curious...how is it that you are involved in breeding a stud-dog, yet are unaware of the "a" stamp programs of either organization?

AS of right now I am Jakes owner . I am not Ruffs gsd kennels. I do stand my dogs to outside bitches and that kennel has a litter sired by Jake. I do not use OFA .Germany costs more and takes longer but I get more standard results. I am a WDA member and use them to submit to the SV. His pictures of his xrays are on my website. He has the second best set of hips on any dog I have had. He has excellent hips and clear elbows. I post all my dogs films on my site and their ratings. feel free to contact me for any info on my dogs.

Yes, you can do that, dont see a problem. You don't have to go to OFA or PennHip, you can submit directly to SV via your organization either USA or WDA.

Is USA now doing elbows through SV also? I would need both for the breed survey under SV judge.
