I recently spotted a dark mark on his tongue. Maximus is 11 months old is this something that i need to worry about? Does anyone else has idea why this happens Please let me know... Thank You

Absoutely no problems with marks/spots on the tongue, many have them. Some lines produce them which is a sign of good pigmentation, don't worry.

It's totally normal. Many dogs have these black spots...mine included. There are some other threads here on the topic. Use the "search messageboard" feature and you'll find them.

What drives me crazy is when people ask if they have chow in them........"because chows have that black spot" Anubis also has that spot on his tongue, it's just a lot darker than that. Nothing to worry about though.
