Don't do it, sorry to be so blunt but I doubt a child could be responsible for a litter of puppies. JMHO

Rachel if it is turning to pink it usually means that it is right time for mating.
daWqESOME - 15 years olds have parents or older friends to help them.My brother is also 15 years old but he knows a lot about dogs, whelping puppies and so on.

I'm sure there are 15 year olds who know more and are more mature then some of the so called adults on this board but I still don't think it is right.
When you post on a public message form you don't always get a pat on the back and someone telling you what a clever young chap you are. More kids (& people in general) these days need a swift kick in rear and cold hard reality check.

Rachel exactly knows what day of heat her female has,she is also watching the color - I think it says a lot about her. A lot of adult people when they come to us to mate their females don´t know it,they say I am not sure 8th day maybe 10th - 11 th.
When I was at her age I really appreciated if others advised me.And still I do!Would I own, train and breed GSDs now if they refused to help me telling me that I was a child? The way the children and young people behave nowadays is the result of what adults do. If we ignore them they will be the same.
I agree a lot of them don´t see the reality but were we different? It is normal at that age.I am a teacher,I teach teenagers from 15 to 19 years old. When I first meet them when they come to my school a lot of them are very children. Some of them are not.The nicest and the best is to see how they change in 4 years time from kids to young adults.
