Posting this as a favor to some clients:

One female GSD, spayed, 6 years old. Has had basic training, behaves well on lead. Nondescript "pet line" type dog, blk/tan, very feminine. Her owners are going through a divorce, husband can't take dogs with and wife only can handle one, so this girl is the odd one out.  I can tell you from experience she is a sweetie.

Male GSD, nearly one year old. Intact, blk/tan, BIG boy. One floppy ear but I suppose you could have it fixed for about what you'd pay for a "newspaper" gsd if it bothered you that much.  Family has two children and cannot at this time work out the authority issues an adolescent male GSD can have. He did well in basic training but is becoming a bully toward the wife and kids and needs someone who has the experience to not take any BS- put him in his place and I'm sure he'll be a great dog.  West german, import parents.

Feel free to pm or email me for info, I'm in the process of getting photos. I'll get you in contact with the current owners either way.

I saw the male on another board, and the breeder will not take him back
That thread said he has had  compulsion based training (e-collar as well), this could be the reason for his attitude?
... he is only 10 months!
Here is Max:

Yes, that is Max. I will say I know nothing about any e-collar work done with him, it was not done with me. If you have a concern regarding my classes creating issues, I would openly invite you to sit in on a few of them.  I sent you a pm.

Lets keep this about finding the dog a good home, shall we?

First, I am the breeder of Max. I was unaware he was being re-homed. The owner has not informed me that he is in need of a new home. The owners have been given permission to rehome in the area. The current owners are nice people just trying to do the right thing for him. Kelly and I both believe he will be better off in a new home.  So without knowing the whole story and commenting on things you know nothing about is just being nosy.

As Kelly said "It's about the dog"

I know someone that might be interested in him (he's not online we talk in person).  Can you elaborate on the "whole story"?  He's had a bad experience with rehome/rescue dogs in the past but with his pricepoint I don't see any other way to help him find a dog.  Does he have a bite history?  Do you know if he's food aggressive or resource guards?

flav323, from my understanding the owner said the breeder would not take him back.  He wants the dog out of his house as he is concerned for his young children.  As a responsible breeder, I would think you would assist in this.

Liesjers, I'll pm you my cell #, try me after 4pm today. If you have questions regarding Mike's involvement in the re-homing of the dog, maybe you could take it private and NOT hijack this thread even more? For crying out loud, I'm trying to help the dogs.

Don't forget the female in all of this! She is older but still has years of love and devotion in her!

I have someone in Illinois looking for a rescue dog from me, they used to live in MT so they came here, they said the recues in Illinois only had 3 legged and problem dogs, as soon as I have their application and it is a good one, I will contact you , if the 2 dogs are available.
Thanks Steph
