I have not seen  (there may be some) any ad for pups or adults here, which would not say "top" Czech German shepherds, lines , dogs, pups..., "top" German - German shepherds, dogs, pups......lines. What do you think of that? Are all dogs/pups sold here "TOP"?

The word "TOP" is just to get your attention - if they really were "top" the breeder wouldn't be parting with them!

Yes I know it,I just thought it would be a good topic to make people think. Many buyers are so naive and do not know any better.:(
I wish people would not succumb to catchy words and four or more syllables superlatives and did their homework better It would be better for them and the GSD breed.

what do these actually mean?

low price
fair price
extra price
extreme price

there seems to be a whole list of "blabla" prices overseas and some kind of a system to them.

An advert may read

Top Czech
Working Lines
Extra price

Yes it is to get your attention but you cant keep every top dog that you have then you wouldnt be making a name for yourself, just my opinion.  I have seen so many people on here that sell there dogs for insane prices and say they are top of the line and there not.  You really have to know the lines and what your getting yourself into when looking at the ads.

Some of the dogs advertised are actually very nice dogs....from all bloodlines.  I've bought a dog off this site a few years back....
Sometimes, you have to sell the "nicest" dogs.......even if you'd rather not.

by carebear on 24 September 2009 - 01:09

We have bought a couple of very nice dogs from ads here.  As crhueta states sometimes people have to sell their lovely dogs for a variety of reasons.  In my case I am glad they did.  I guess as a buyer you have to be very careful and not get sucked in and do your research.

if they are not "top" then they are "extra" working male...........advertising is funny

how about.......

Show female for sale - 100% pregnant!
