I was wondering what people had to say about this female -- aside from "she's wet!" and "she's 3/4 front-stacked" -- both of those I know. I was just out with her and decided to snap a few rough pics at the beach.

Oh, and yep, I'm the hander and photographer again.

I stand by it that doing both makes photographic dogs a fair bit harder than if there were two people involved. You have no idea how many solo-shots I have to take just to get one I consider even worth putting online. It's not easy getting a dog to look forward with perked ears you're the only person around

Ignore who?

Anyhow, heh, she was born on Jan 23, 2009; so she's not quite a year old yet. [pedigree].

Right now I'm just focusing on building drive, confidence, and physical conditioning. We've been building prey drive, letting her tug'n'win with bites and ropes, and trying to encourage her to fight a bit while she's tugging; make her earn it.

She's very handler sensitive. She reminds me of working border collies; very reactive to the slightest signs of disapproval, and easy to shut down with a stern gaze and a frustrated sigh. I have to be careful not to be too hard on her. Her mother is the same way... and never failed a bite or courage test in her life :-)

Ultimately my goals for her are competion in Schutzhund and Show. I'm thinking, like her mother, she'll be very calm and clean on the field.
