I have a friend who is looking to buy a working line pup. So that I do not get inundated with e-mails and we don't waste each other's time; here is what I am looking for.
My friends price cap is $1100 and $100 of that goes in the gas tank of my truck to view parents and/or test litter. I am not dead set on the parents being titled. I care more about the genetic quality of the dogs and what they pass on to their progeny. With that said, I will need to at least see some good video of parents; preferrably be able to work parents and/or related offspring. When I say work I will be TESTING these dogs so if you are concerned with that, let's not waste each others time. I will not be unfair to a dog but I WILL test them. We are not against a breeder selecting the pup if they have a proven record of producing quality puppies. We are not against shipping a pup but again the price cap is $1100.
What we are looking for........
This will be a first time handler but under my direct supervision. I am not looking for the hardest dog in the world, but one that is resliliant enough to recover from beginners mistakes and not fall apart. We are not set on a color or sex. The dog will probably be trained for Ring Sport so a slow 100 lb dog or one with questionable structure won't work. This dog will be worked hard and jumped alot. Nice gentically balanced drives and stable temperment.
I understand these things can not be guaranteed in any puppy. This is what we are looking for and wanting a pup from parents who display these qualities and better yet have a track record of producing solid working candidates.
What the pup will recieve.......
A loving married couple and 1 1/2 year old pet GSD as it's family. Consistant training under the guidance of a TD who has titled dog's in multiple sport venues. Proper excercise, health care, and diet.
On a side note I am a big fan of Toll vh Milinda, Antwerpa, Falk vd Wolfen, Nick and Grief lines. Not opposed to czech stuff either.
So if you have or know of anything comming up that may fit the bill, let me know.
Thanks
