Dave Blank will be conducting a training weekend/seminar at the training facility of Vom Dreieck German Shepherds and Stateline Schutzhund Club's home field in Harvard, IL(Northern Illinois). There will be primitive camping available on site starting Friday night, as well as hotels in nearby Harvard. Kennels are available at no charge, however, owners are responsible for the care of their own dogs.
Dates are as follows
October 17th and 18th, $75.00 per day, and only $25 dollars extra for anyone who participates the second day as well. This $100 weekend training is in gratitude for all the participants who showed up Labor day weekend for a very memorable training weekend. Lunch will be provided and a $35 a day spectator fee will apply. Wives who accompany their husbands will not be charged for spectating and vice versa.

This weekend will be perfect for anyone who is thinking of trialing in the Fall. The training facility has a full size Schutzhund field with stationary blinds, obedience equipment (jumps and dumbbells), and plenty of tracking. We will have multiple certified helpers, in addition to Dave, to ensure that we can accommodate everyone's needs. Each day will include tracking, obedience and 2 bite work sessions per dog. Novice handlers and green dogs are welcome! Experienced handlers needing to get on different fields with dogs that may just need tweeking are welcome! Dave is an excellent trouble-shooter and problem solver. So bring your problem dogs, stubborn dogs and crazy dogs.
Participation will be limited.

Here are some of Dave's accomplishments.
- Dave is a Certified WDA Helper. - Dave started training dogs in 1979. - Dave and Jimm vom Fichtenschlag placed 2nd at the 1986 USA SchH3 Nationals. In 1986-87 he earned the united sch club of america gold sports medal
- Dave has personally titled dogs in all of Jimm’s 4 generations of progeny.
- Dave did the protection phase training for the first Golden Retriever ever titled to SchH3 in the United States .
- Dave has been the President and/or Training Director for 5 different Schutzhund Organizations over the years. He is currently the President and Training Director of Stateline Schutzhund Club.
- Dave has trained dogs in Personal Protection and Schutzhund in breeds ranging from Jack Russell Terriers to Poodles to Bulldogs and beyond.
- - Dave has testified in court as an expert witness regarding dog aggression.
-Dave can also be seen on some of Ed Frawley(Leerburg videos) doing the bite work for Berhnard Flinks dog Itor.
