Hi,
I was wondering about kennel names. What do you have to do to be registered as a kennel/breeder? Do you have to register your kennel name somewhere? I dont' know what exactly to ask, so any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Kennel name is like a corporate name. It has to be Unique at the parent Boidy Level FCI and the local kennel club will chekc for this for you when you submit your application

I may be wrong because I don't know much about this either, but what I get from the AKC website, is that you have to have had a stud that produced 40 registered litters or you need to have produced 5 registered litters in the past 5 years before you can get a kennel name and you have to be involved in AKC events. For those that do schutzhund, I don't know if that counts as an AKC event.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
