Unfortunately, the economy, a serious injury and age has taken its' toll on me and my GSD rescue operation and business. I am now forced to start looking for homes for the dogs I have, both rescues and my own personal dogs. I am in Colorado. If you would make a great home, a forever home for a dog, and live in the area or not too far away, please feel free to contact me with information about the kind of dog you are looking for.

I have males and females, some trained, some not so trained, and four 10 month old pups who are very active and definitely need a strong and experienced hand. All are healthy and have excellent temperaments. I would like to sell my personal dogs, but at this point, I am willing to consider giving them away to proper homes. All the rescues and my personal dogs are GSDs, of mostly European bloodlines. I also have a stray older spaniel of some sort and a young aussie mix. Both of these dogs are great dogs too for someone just looking for a pal.

Sadly, today I will  say goodbye to two of my old dogs, Thor, 13 years old, my first SchH dog who started SchH at 2.5 years, tolerated all my mistakes and got his SchH 2 when every one told me he could not do it. He has testicular cancer. Donni, 11, a great show line female is a SchH3 and has been a great working dog. She once earned the compliment of a judge who said that if all females in the breed worked as she did, there would be little problem in the breed.  I was proud when she went to a Sieger Show years ago and was certainly one of the best dogs who were excellent in the bitework. She has DM which has rapidly progressed. Thor and Donni are best buddies and they will be PTS this afternoon together, as my heart breaks.

If you or someone you know is looking for a good dog, and lives near me, please consider emailing me to see what I have available. Please just PM me here. I don't post here now, but I will check in in case someone responds.

Thank you.

Hodie,
I am so sorry for you. How heart breaking. You'll be in my prayers and I will be hoping you get forever homes for each of them. I hope people will offer a decent adoption fee for them, to help you out in these trying times.
Best Wishes,
Stacy

if you don;t mind would you be open to send your dog to someone overseas. The person will pay shipping and also maybe pay but nominal. I cannot vouch but I know few people who are desperately looking to start something with working dogs in some parts of the world where there is lack of education on these dogs. Let me know if you are comfortable with this? Whoever I introduce I will vouch for that person but I cannot vouch on how or what they will be ready to pay. the person is looking for a young  green dog with good drives and some lineage to bank upon

cheers

Hodie:  why don't you contact the other breeders in your area;  Gunbil for one and find out if they have someone on their waiting list that they cannot supply a puppy to;  and there are others in  your area.  That one comes to mind and he has connections in Germany and Colorado etc.  Sorry for your loss.  I know what it is like to loose and say good bye to your best friends.  Nanci
