The minute I read it was Mr. Tim H. I wanted to know if he actually had posession of the dogs, or knew this was going on, was it one of his "buddies". I have never had any dealings with him, but over the years, I have heard enough to make me speculate.
At this point I really do not care, those dogs were in trouble and would have remianed in discomfort. Whatever the circumstances, may they RIP. For those that loved them may they find peace also.

Ya know, I just realized I posted an angry post full of swearing because I'm feeling so angry at that poor dog that had to be put down because of the mastitus..... and then reading the petty gossip that followed... I gotta stay away from this cesspool of pettiness for awhile.

ITA, luvdemdogs. The whole mess makes me sick to my stomach. If this is what the dog 'sport' world is like, I want NOTHING whatsoever to do with it!
I hope the various working dog organizations do everything possible to investigate this henious crime, prosecute those responsible, and take steps to keep it from happening again.
But, I'm probably dreaming, human nature being what it is... What good is a brood bitch, once her puppy days and working days are past? Jeez...just throw her on the trash heap!
Tim has nothing but my respect for rescuing these two girls, and making sure their suffering was at an end. And kudos to the breeder for stepping in to help, too!
Some things in life ARE exactly the way they seem. You do not have to go digging for dirt and ulterior motives behind everything that happens.
And for those of you who dislike Tim, and have a 'history' with him, remember that even the worst scoundrels do good deeds now and then!
Please, please, just this once, can we let sleeping dogs lie, literally AND figuratively!

Tim did not rescue the dogs.
Rather he was the one who put them in that condition and then Photo'd them as a ploy to garner sympathy, badly needed respect to peddle dogs and training, and money.
A scam to try to clean his name, and to make money at the same time.
Lorenzo was a scapegoat.
The Authorities and animal control should be summoned.

I see you're brand new to this board.It' refreshing to see a post on here thats not stupid enough to buy this bs.We share the exact same feelings on this subject, and I find it simply amazing that some of these people want to put him on a pedestal, and declare him a hero.I stated early on that this made no sense, and was chastised by some for my thoughts on the matter.At this point all I have to say to them is if you want to stick your head in the sand and your butt in the air, in short time the results will be become painfully ovious to you. On another note, I woudn't have a clue who the crackhead spoken of really is would you? LOL Michael

I agree!! Adolf Hitler loved his gsd....that did not prevent him from being a monster, did it? I don't know if Lorenzo is a scapegoat, or not. But, I am not blind to Helser, either. His record (in every sense) speaks for itself.

Mystere, I don't know about Lorenzo either,but truthfully I think a pawn to futher sympathy for the author of this story. I think he also attempted to use Nate as a Pawn, but thought better of it when Nate responded.He's intelligent in a warped way,he can turn things around to his advantange instantly.Who knows where this road leads in the end, probably just a dead end in the long run. But one thing is for certain some of us know the direction its heading to bad we can't really see the whole journey, it might be enlightening and shocking as well. Michael

It has nothing to do with the Dog Sport you think we are all tarred with the same brush and because You little miss uppity high and mighty have no interest in the sport you condemn everyone in it, and that is plain thick
It is the people who just because they own a German shepherd dog think they have to breed with it, read the many posts on here regarding that
The the normal run of the mill person only does it for the money not to better the breed, and whist i am on a roll now let me tell you this You can have a dog who is a couch potato it has a nice disposition it is a loving dog and likes everyone, That dog has had an easy life it probably thinks its in charge of you because you never have to correct it
Then one day you think to yourself i would like a litter of pups from this Dog, Big Mistake, firstly even if it does no work are its hips and elbows breedable most do not give a shit about that it the $s in front of there eyes they are interested in not hips and elbows, but before you or any other wise person breeds with it, put the dog to work and then see if it is the loving happy care free animal you think it was
No', many dogs when put under a bit of pressure change with the wind, they cannot take it they become unstable and it is not because they are ill treated it is simply they are asked to do something which is out of there comfort zone,
But if it had not been put under any pressure this would not ever be known and the dog bred from, only to pass its faults onto its Pups and so on
If you do not move around in the circle of the sport you cannot make a valid comment one way or the other
and i tell you this, You do not think any more of your Dogs than we do who love the sporting side in fact probably less than us, I have owned Dogs for 60 years and i have never hit a dog and i never get angry with them no matter how i feel i shrug it off before i go to the Dog or any other animal, and another thing being in the Sch sport teaches you to be observant, more so than a person who just keeps the dog as a pet, there is never any time of the day when i go outside i do not look towards the dogs any little thing that may be amiss i pick on instantly and it becomes a habit to do so
One last thing
I do not know what goes on in the USA i have a good general idea what goes on with many Dog owners reading the posts on here tells me that many people keep them as pets do nothing with them regards working them, and some breed a litter of pups of which most do not want anyway but the thought was there to make a few bucks simply because it is a German shepherd i hope they are in the minority but it does go on,
But there are a lot of genuine Dog loving people over there who compete or train in the SCH sport and i bet everyone one of them pay and get there dogs joints certified, they certainly do over here in Belgium show me Sch kennel over here who does not get there dogs joints certified and i will send you a 100 dollars
it is priority that they know, for the welfare of the Dog But as you say you do not want to be associated with us sort of people we are rogues and cruel to our dogs Wake up lady you are in a dream world of your own
As regards the Dogs you are refering too it is a sin and words cannot express how anyone can feel at seeing those poor dogs, there are people out there who are inhuman they are a species not worth considering but they will get there rewards for there evil back ten fold sometime or another
