Did anyone see this video that thier local news channel did. Great to see something like this on the news.
every little bit of education helps.

It takes a very long time to load, but its worth every minute.

nice informative article, with out the fear factor attached to it.

didn't like that last little bit though, about not breeding to the standard being ok and even better.

I think that was said due to they are not the typical rin tin tin or American show dogs. Most people do not know that there is a whole nother world (like this forum ) out there. All they see is dog shows on tv and what is in peoples back yards. I don't think they were saying a bad thing per say.  Just my take on it.

The man should have just said they are working type GSD's, with standard working bloodlines, they are actually very much to the standard.

Did anyone notice the first dog favoring his right back leg?  Could have been he was just excited......one of my dogs lifts her front paw when she is beside me in training.....

It was a really nice video to see, I thought it was great to see how smart the dog was that the man called back to him, that takes some excellent training, he had a stable dog that was very under control, that is what everyone could hope for in the GSD

It is great to see that type of thing on t.v.
It is a positive way to show the breed.
