I could have done without dirty dancing, but I have to say I admire the courage that he displayed, at least publicly, after he was diagnosed. He also seemed to be an stand-up guy. One of the few in Hollywood. Married 34 years. WOW!

I saw a documentary about him recently, and he was a gentleman and he fought bravely against his illness, a fine actor and a true family man
