Hi, can ayone tell me how i can get my dog IWQ qualified and can anyone please explain other quals in schutzhund that don't mean i have to complete all three phases !!!!!

I don't know about others,but I don't understand your question.Maybe you should reword your question without the abreviations.

I am asking how i get my dog IWQ qualified, if i am right it means i only have to compete in two of the phases instead of three, tracking and obedience but i don't know what the IWQ stands for. So does anyone know what it stands for and if i am correct in my belief ???? i have seen it on a GSDL members info and wanted to know how to go about it. (german shepherd dog league of GB ).

SchH1a is called IWQ and is the same routine as SchH1 but no Protection work, thereby allowing the dog to try FH titles which only include tracking

Is this a British thing? In the US, there is a Sch A, wjich is OB and protection.

Hi Fergie

You enter a UK Schutzhund trial, same as the other qualifications. International Working Qualification is A and B of Schutzhund I and you will need to join either GSDL or BAGSD, get a score book and pass BH first..

thanks all for your replies. I understand now. i am thinking of getting my Begleithund and then a sch H1 A, which i believe is part B and C of the three phases.
