Here's my 2 yr old DDR/Czech/Tasmanian devil.

When I first got him in April and he was blowing his coat:

His face in the last picture is priceless...it's the day after I brought him home from the kennel. "Who are you, what's that you're holding and can I eat it?"

Handsome fella. I love that dark sables and the way his colors blend.

Until I find a reasonably priced club (there's a really good one run nearby by a verrrry well known guy...$1000 a year yikes, if only...), it's just focus work, BASIC bitework and OB. He had next to no training when I got him, a real green dog. He had been turned down by a police department for have low drive...HA. He hadn't had any drive-building, didn't understand what a toy was (seemed like it, I don't know for sure of course). I got him because I wanted a visual deterrent with the possibility for more...and DAMN did I get more. Not top level competition, but fine for a newbie like me.

Edit: by next to no training I mean he knew sit and how to walk on a leash.

mollyandjack what state are you in .. I know of a few great clubs .. pm me if you would and let me know what state your in and I will tell you what clubs you should take a look at . Nice looking dog by the way !
