I am bumping up this thread again since I'm still in search of a female puppy.. As of now Anubis and I are working with a police dog trainer doing protection, and he is giving me advice in other areas of training.  Anubis is coming along great, and I expect great things out of him. I am VERY pleased with him,  so now comes getting a female as planned. I've done tons of looking on the internet at a lot of DDR breedings....which I thought I would prefer, but working Anubis more and more I want something intense, hard, something that will WORK, and be capable of any work.  The reason I'm bumping this thread from however long ago this was posted is to see now if anyone has any Max van Tiekerhook breedings......or breedings with Nick being linebred in them. One I saw that had Nick already had four reservations on puppies and is due this month.  So if any of you guys know any with Tiekerhook lines, with Nick and/or Max in them let me know.  I'd prefer not to pay $3,500 for a puppy from Koos which is why I haven't talked to him in a while, thats just too much money in my opinioin. $1,500 is what I paid for my Mambo z Pohranicni Straze son Anubis and that seems very reasonable to me.    So anyway, whats out there, whats planned?

Vikram - some breeders ask much more for their puppies just because they are well known. However, this does not mean that all the dogs from their kennel are superb. There are breeders who have great dogs from top working lines giving high quality progeny but they are not that known because either they don´t show their dogs at top competitions or they have just a small kennel so they offer puppies for not that high prices. So you can buy "a Ferrari " for a normal price.

P.S.Jabina kennel produces top dogs so some guys here in Slovakia impported puppies from that kennel for really high money.I can say now when I see these dogs that they are not bad but there are plenty of dogs like them here.

I just googled Tiekerhook and found tons of dogs and pedigrees mostly here in the US you might want to try that and follow up on a few.

Thanks Bob, I'll try that out.  And darylehet thats not a bad idea, but finding the right dog to breed to him......I wouldn't want just any puppy out of him, the female would have to be a good match to him.

Yeah there is alot out there with some of the same lines, but unless you believe you know as much as koos, I'd  just go to koos.  Pay the extra money and get what you want.  He knows the lines and what matches up with what.  If you want what koos is producing, go to koos.  If you want a 50% guarantee of what koos is producing, go elsewhere.
