HEAT PROBLEM - Page 1

MY FRIEND HAVE A FEMALE WHO S NOT COME ON HEAT FROM LAST 16 MONTHS HE TEST HER PROJESTRONE LEVEL IS 0.5 NG/ML ANY BODY SUGGEST US HER TREATMENT.

I have some bitches that cycle every 26 weeks to the day. Other sisters, (litter mates) away from a pack on a farm isolated away from other bitches, cycle once every two years. Weird eh? I have found when you have several girls in a kennel environment; one girl seems to bring the others into season. Mother Nature, the number of day light hours, all is rumored to have an influence on a bitch’s heat cycle. peter cadman www.germanshepherddog.tv

I have not experienced this problem personally, but I do know they have a shot or something you can give them to bring them into heat. I am not recommending this, as I think it can really throw her cycle off (I'm not sure that's an issue, though...lol), but it is a thought if you want to talk to a vet about it. Good LUCK!
