Hi all.

Building a wooden, stationary jump would be easy, but I am looking to build a transportable, lightweight one .  I'd like it to fit in a lawn chair bag.  Folding/collapsable would be nice, but not necessary.  I'd also prefer that no welding be involved.

I have a couple of ideas, but I'm not sure if they are the most optimal.  If anyone has any experience or ideas, I would appreciate it if you shared them.

Thanks. :)

Use PVC pipes (pluming pipes). Lightwaight can be easily adjusted.

I've made several agility jumps out of PVC, very easy and cheap.  They are "official" dimensions as far as AKC agility competition.  If you are thinking for SchH I think they are a bit higher but you can make yours higher.  Last summer I took all my jumps (and weaves) to the cottage so we could keep up practicing.  This is my pattern:

For a schH hurdle, pvc and vinyl house siding works well.  It is lightweight, yet sturdy and stationary.

Thank you, all.  Liesjers, your explanation makes it too easy.
