Tamiflu seems to be the miracle drug for curing parvo in puppies. Your vet probably knows all about it. If not, check out the Veterinarian's Information Network on the net. You can search under "tamiflu" and the dosage, etc is listed there.

Yes, it's a human drug and requires a prescription.

I think it is used for flu treatment in Humans. Any more information on its use for pets

Blitzen, this is a great post.
Dobies, Rotts, and Pits are very susceptible to this disease.
If caught in the early stages Tamiflu seems to be having a dramatic impact on saving pups.
It seems puppies are being saved in shelters and homes by given this drug twice daily for 5 days.
Once again, it must be given in early stages.
It will not reverse the disease when it is advanced and the puppies are deathly ill. At that point, there is too much tissue damage and the puppy is not likely to be helped by this treatment.
Im going to ask my Vet for some just in case.
