RLHAR

Okay, I just had an amusing experience.

Decided this week to introduce the odd raw meal into my dogs' diet.   They've had the odd raw meal here and there but are normally feed a mixture of ToTW and Orijen puppy kibble which they do very well on.

Tonight I mixed up some raw top round steak cut into chunks, a couple frozen chicken wings, two eggs (had to break them for the bitch she won't eat the shells), plain yogurt and blueberries.

I feed them both in 'slow down' dog bowls because the male tends to bolt his food so there are some built in obstacles in the bowls.  It was amusing as all get out watching the pair of them try to work out how to get to their various goodies while working around the 'slow down' function of the bowls.

Who ever sid dinner time couldn't be a chance to give your dog a bit of a mental puzzle to solve?

Very good idea   I do it very often...Yesterday I put a round ball of half frozen Hamburger chuck in Raydo;s bowl covered with a liver piece and some kibble and some green beans  that had for dinner....He wanted the frozen hamburger first so he dug right to the bottom....Blueberries were frozen also...I put three in the bowl as I had dropped them in floor out of the box...

I went to the blueberry farm a month ago and bought a plat of blueberries and blackberries and been fixing  GSDtravels recipe for quick   cobbler she left me....yummmmmmmmmmmy good......................
