More and more show line people are posing themselves as working line folks and showing a pseudo support for workability. I think it all a hypocrisy especially vocal on this board. Does a leopard ever change its spots?????????

Yes they are getting a complex. Go to a serious working dog club and then to a show. Amazing the difference in the people, equally as different as the dogs IMO. Of course this is a generalization.

Why would I go to a working dog club then to a show? That would be like drinking a few nice beers and then switching to Pabst Blue Ribbon. Just doesn't make sense.

Exactly my point Sam Spade. I went to a local show once and was amazed with all th lawn chairs and people so entertained with the dogs "gaiting" around the ring. I am getting off topic. I personally relate to the bond between handler and dog in traing no matter what the venue.

Because ONLY show people have a complex about their dogs :)

I understand your point. Have you ever been to a horse show. I couldn't get it. They ride in a circle a couple times and recieve ribbons. Simply not my bag, but then again, I'm not much of a badminton player either.
