There is an importer out of FL whose ads direct you to a website where you often cannot locate the exact dog the ad is about. This importer has had numerous ads on the PDB. The website gives a list of dogs for sale with very little information about them and no way to confirm what is there on your own. Some of the dogs have had names that belong to GSDs that they couldn't possibly have in their possession or be selling, and then the names may have been altered. Other names sound like a well-known dog but the spelling of the kennel is a little off (misspelled?) With a little research I was able to find shipping records for a few of these dogs - they are NOT from Germany but from CHINA! I can't say whether or not they are registered with the SV but consider the fact they are taking the scenic route from the far east and wonder what is up with that. I am not making any accusations but just raising a red flag for all you interested.
