So my 13 year old daughter, being, you know, a 13 year old girl was wondering to me today is she could trial her dog on a pink fur saver. We know someone who coats prong collars to make them fun colors (she has a pink prong) and I'm sure he could do a fur saver.  My very old rule book states what type of collar but says nothing about color... I know its very silly but kind of cute. Do you think it would be allowed?

I don,t think color is addressed just the type. Go for it.

I agree.  Rulebook says nothing about color, and some people use gold ones (the brass ones), so why not pink?

Actually, that's an INTERESTING question!

Even if it may not fly for adult handlers, it might at least be waived for junior handlers.

But it would be great if we could all be more like kids and REMEMBER the JOY AND FUN of the sport as well as the serious part of it.

I'd so trial my dog in a pink fur saver!

I usually use the brass one's as their trial collars....
