This is my 5 month old GSD puppy, and my 3 year old adult mutt. They bicker like this all the time. Blood is never drawn. The funny thing is, my GSD pup is always the winner.

I've never owned a dog as fiesty as her! Lol!

Oh, and all the growling you hear is HER. The adult dog never makes a sound :P

That is too funny.  Seems to me tho, they are just two dogs having fun. Huxley being the male is letting her have fun being a puppy.  I have seen it many times that the male will let the bitch "have her way" .  But many times after maturity the playing ends, and than the dog makes his stand. But if he is neutered, he may let her have her way all the time.. JMO... I say....LET HER HAVE FUN.. He will let her know if and when he has had enough of her.. Just keep an eye on them..

Oh I am definitely keeping on eye on it. And yes Huxley is neutered (: She's a firecracker though!

Sabin and Astra would play like this all the time. Sabin was a much bigger dog the Astra, but he would always let her win.
They look like they are having alot of fun.
Always,
Cee

My female is 17 months and my male is 15 weeks.  They play like this all the time, and most of the time it's him that's making all the noise.  Once in a while she will give a growl and continue in play, also showing teeth.  He doesn't get the message quite yet when to call it quits.  She did get him across the muzzle  and now he's got a big scab.  He's starting to learn.  I'm sure pretty soon the tables will turn and he will be telling her what and where.  He's pretty cocky.  Or, should I say confident.  Sometimes it seems a little of both.  I've had him out in the world amoung all kinds of things and nothing seems to bother him.

I have one that is 15 month old  male and idolizes my daughters female and she thinks he is pest. He plays the "I touched you" game with her in the car, just gives he a lite touch with his paw. He knows this drives her crazy. When playing and she has had over the top enough, she will take off after him with her teath showing and a gutter growl and he is "oh sheesh" and off to the kennel he goes, she  will stand  outside of it and just howl at him. It is so funny.
