Early 2008 it was announced by SUCHNO that it was proven with DNA that Bak Belejakov dvor *IS NOT* Norbo Ben-Ju son. They do not know who the sire is for Bak therefore all his progeny's pedigrees are no good. The breeder of Bak is not talking:-) so it will remain mystery as to who the sire is?

Maybe somebody can verify this information.

Thanks.

My question would be why do you care?

My question would be why do you care?

Let's put this way, what if you get a pup out of Bak because you know Bak is out of Norbo Ben-Ju? and now, you've heard and found out that Bak is not from Norbo Ben-Ju?

Is this the case? Do you have such a pup?

First of all, I have a very bad taste in my mouth about all DNA>>>I happen to know DNA can be wrong....I am positive it can come back wrong...so that being said....I do not know what you do....or how to feel or where to even begin...but I without a doubt know there are mistakes made..

.Do not want to get into how I know,,but I can guarantee my whole estate against knowing DNA can be wrong..    For the ones who did claim sire of pups is one when it is another....that has been done for so long it is not even funny....not the first or last...but   maybe it is a mistake..not familiar with this case nor care to get into it...but mistakes have been done with DNA and it is almost never resolved...no one is sane enough after you start trying to undo it...it hits and cause so much havock you cant imagine ...

I recall once that a vet student at the university mixed up our progesterone tests with someone else's for an AI we did.  Not as severe as a dna mix up, but awefully costly regardless.

It is true that it was stated by SUCHNO that Bak is not Norbo`s son. This claim is based upon the DNA test that was made in Germany.I read that announcement in Noviny kynologov - it is a GSD magazine run by SUCHNO.

MY question is how many of the pups made it to the United States and are AKC registered. I doubt that AKC will pull the paper work. Most people do not know about forums like this and will not know thus breeding the said dog.

I personally think all dogs/females included should be DNA tested before breeding. Not because of this case but because there is too much paper swamping/making up pedigrees going on specially  "everywhere"

I believe that a DNA test be done on the individual dogs, as a requirment for registration, dam and a sire, then when they are bred the pups would be DNA'd before being allowed to breed, this is how it is done in a lot of the horse registries and prevents alot of dishonest people....included on the registration papers with their registration number...

Get a Real dog:

Hi,we have here a Nobo ben ju daughter who is a liitermate of Bak,so Amidamaru asked for some opinions here if someone could help us with this matter.

We have pups from the littermate of Bak.

Right now there is confusion,do you guys think that we still register and consider those pups as Norbo's grand pups?

Thanks.
