I wish someone would on this database, she is an awesome and so smart girl...she really needs a job though and I can't keep them all...LOL...As it is I don't have the time to work my own....darn.....she needs an experienced GSD owner...one that understands the breed more than some....working dog all the way, no pet dog in this one. She is too smart and will get into trouble if let go...I thought she had it with the gal that adopted her already....just plain stinks, not willing to completely train her.

BTW Steph,
Just wondering how much land it takes to run a rescue like you have.

I have 10 acres here but most of it is for my horses...the more you have the better for training...You just might want more though for the barking and no neighbors...my friend fosters for me and she just has a double lot in town with a 6 foot fence...fence is the biggest thing...I have a couple of outside kennels for the dog aggressive dogs I have to rehab, but the others all stay in the house and learn to get along with my other dogs. Plan on lots of vaccuming, I have hardwood floors, and not much of a nice green lawn...Good luck if you try to do it, lots of rescue places look for foster homes, places where the dogs go temporarily while waiting for their forever home, you could try that first. I take all the dogs here first then send them to only my 2 other fosters, most stay here till they go though. One has a kid, so I have to be selective in who I send her. The other has a bitch female, so can only send older male dogs to....Makes it tough, but I like to evaluate all of them here....I have a pretty good no return rate, once in awhile I misread people, but not often...
What part of the country do you live in???
