I was wondering if a dog could get a KKL1 without a elbow result i came across something on this board were a dog has a KKL1 but no elbow result, could someone enlighten me.

Yes , you can...only need proof of OFA hips upon the registration for the KK1

Yes if they were...koered (or maybe born?) before they changed the regulations. I am not sure which. But I think the regulation was only put into effect a few years ago so it's still possible.

For a dog's breed survey to be accepted by the WDA, the dog's must heave elbows certified by the OFA or the SV. WDA has in place a process for submitting elbow x-rays to the SV. www.germanshepherddog.com/regulations/breed_survey_regulations.htm
(2) USA requires hip x-rays certified by the OFA or the SV. USA does not presently require elbow certification.
(3) In Germany, if I remember correctly, all dogs born after 1/1/2004, must have SV ED certification to qualify for the BS. The SV does not yet accept digital x-rays.

Yes. In other words, dogs born before 2004 can have kkl1 in Germany without Elbow results.
