I didn't have to provide photos, just the DNA, but maybe things have changed. Also AKC may help with the Bescheinigung, Try this:
akc@schaeferhunde.de AKC can help you with everything else needed. I wished they had an 800 number at the time. Good luck, Trish

You will need to get a Bescheinigung from the SV before AKC will register your dog. Either the prior owner will get it for you or you get it yourself. Once you get that, send in a copy of the Bescheinigung, a complete copy of the Pink Papers, two photographs of your dog (one a head shot and one from the side) and a Foreign Dog Registry Form that you can print from the AKC website. Also send them $50. Without all the above, your import will not be registered by the AKC.
