Those poor children. I'll be glad to 'fix' him for free.

Almost a million dollars in benefits paid out to keep them fed and cared for, out of tax money?
Dude, get chopped. Better yet, if you can't afford a thousand dollars, I know local butcher who castrates his own pigs...For fifty bucks, he'd help you out!
Tragic story. Mom dies, Dad hasn't enough balls to care for them so he dumps them? I can't say what I think of this one.

Not that I am defending dad here, but at least he recognized that he is not capable of taking care of 9 kids (I have seen the results when parents take their frustrations out on the kids). I am assuming that Rebel did everything so he had no clue how to pay bills, organize home and take care of kids. The only thing that really bothers me is now his girlfriend is pregnant. What was he thinking or did he not know about birth control. Rebel seems like the in-charge type who pretty much ran everything and everybody, I bet the sudden loss of that organizing force was mind numbing.

There used to be a group that gave cash awards to women who would get a tubal ligation. They were harassed and called names. I think they had a great idea.
