Hello,

I'm a registered nurse and my husband is ex-military and police officer.  He is gone most nights and I am looking for a very stable personal protection dog that can be part of our family.  Right now, I can't afford to pay thousands up front, so I am looking for someone who does some type of financing or payment plans.

Thank you

You want a full grown, fully trained dog for protection ?
On credit.

I want an Air Plane.
On credit.

Buy a nice pup, or a nice gun.
A nurse and a cop, your bringing home more money than I am right now.
Be glad you have jobs.
Lately I hear a lot of people on the board talking about getting rid of dogs because of the economy.
You don't need a trained attack dog to begin with.

I dunno, people amaze me sometimes.
Other times they don't.

Moons.

P.S.   I'd check out tristates link..

Almost smells like a scam.

How about an untrained attack dog? He's 9 yrs old and missing a few teeth but he can still bite :)

I'm guessing you might find someone who would take payments. The trained PPDs can't be flyin' off the shelves these days. Your husband being a cop and all, doesn't he have any connections?

I am available for hire @ 250.00 per week ! I bring my own sch3 ppd and 9 millimeter . I perfere steak three times a week and spaghetti the rest! The ppd and I will live in the apartment over the garage . After 30 days we will require full medical insurance. A sase with a plane ticket is just fine I can be there in 48 hrs!

Just get a shepherd with a lot of defense drive, and a degree of sharpness that will put on a good show -then obedience train him so he doesn't bite the wrong person.  Or take him to schutzhund or PP yourself.  No need to pay huge dollars for a dog .
A lot of the time an aggressive bark will be enough to deter loser thieves, the really bad type would just shoot your dog anyway.

It would also be more cost effective to get a nice older dog with little training, bond with him so he WANTS to protect you, then see a local trainer for a few bitework sessions.
