I see 4 heads...but more spines.  Can anyone help (or draw) your counts for me?  Thanks.

I count six! (Counting spines, as not all the heads are visible.)

Actually no, on second look, there may be seven...

The one I labeled 1 is jammed so far forward in mom's ribcage that at first I thought it couldn't be a pup, but when I enlarged it in MS Paint, I could see it definitely looked to be a spine. 4 and 5 are jammed right on top of each other, but if you look closely, you'll see there are 2 separate spines, plus a ribcage. 2 is lying at right angles to 3. There may even be an 8th one hiding way down at the bottom there, underneath #7!

Don't take my word for it, though! Even the vets get it wrong a lot of the time! I'm a registered nurse, and did work for awhile as a vet assistant though, so I do have some experience with x-rays.
