This is the perfect topic for the general topic dog board because it relates to dogs other than just german shepherds.

My partner tells me we should buy online, but I've been reluctant to do so because I have no experience purchasing vet supplies online.  I'm afraid of getting a "knock off" look alike drug that is not of the same quality.

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences buying online for vet supplies, worming, flea and tick, vaccines etc?

I bought vaccines from a supply outlet, Valley Vet Supplies, with no problem. Vaccines were sent overnight with cool pac, sealed & sterile....cost was lower than taking everyone to the vets, with the added benefit of no exposure to sick animals, & after 22 years of nursing experience, giving the vaccines was no problem. All in all, a good idea, especially with little pups.
And you have no idea if the vaccines your vet is giving are the real deal either, as far as that goes, at least by ordering them in bulk, you get a sealed by the manufacturer package with the lot number & processing date, just like the stuff we use in the hospitals. Mine were from Phizer, looked just like what we get from Phizer in the hospital setting. jackie harris
