For sale is my Gappay Trial Sleeve. I've replaced it with a sleeve that works better for me. The sleeve is in good condition - but the foam rubber grip around the handle (inside) is starting to tear and peel. This seems like a common occurrence with Gappay sleeves as others I've borrowed all seem to suffer the same fate after moderate use. Anyhow, the foam is still all there - but definitely starting to have issues. This causes no functional problems - but I like to be totally open in the spirit of full disclosure. The sleeve comes with a leather strap for securing the cover. I can also throw in a used jute cover that is about 70% done.

It is either a regular or a long model - Can't say for sure. I bought it in person and just grabbed the one that felt right to me. The sticker has since fallen off. I can say that I'm 5'8" and 165 lbs with an athletic frame and the sleeve fit me fine - my problem with it was the handle position that angled the bite-bar in a position that I didn't care for. I know it is not a short model as a friend has the short for sure (he ordered it specifically) and there is a difference in the handle placement inside. (the sleeves are all same length)

This would be a great first sleeve and I'm looking for $75 firm plus shipping. I posted this about 2 months ago and then decided to hang onto the sleeve until after I got used to my new one - so it is now back up on the block.

I'd love to have it, but not sure I could be trusted with something like that.

Hi There, is this sleeve still available? If so, will you take $75+ shipping for the sleeve AND a cover? I am new to Schutzhund and helper work and frankly I'm not sure if I'll stay with helper work or not. So I am hesitant to pay $105.00 for something I am not sure that I'll stick with. If you can manage my price, I'd be happy to make the deal. Thanks for your consideration.

I was trying to put the sound of a dog flattening me into written words.
Guess I didn't do too well.
