Hi Travel,
I started losing wt last summer, I needed to lose wt because of my knees. The getting a working pup and train for schutzhund diet works really well. Do you want to write a book on it?
Always,
Cee

On second thought, though, I think I'd better spend some time around a club and make sure I'm up to the task of training a GSD for that. Don't know if there's one anywhere near North Idaho, or not.
Traveltime...Does training a Border mix for agility or herding work for weight loss? If so, I'll have to get some ducks to start her on:-)

Puppy breath!
Puppy fuzz is also high on the list. Those little fuzzy bodies....ahhh, how cute!
And watching them learn about the world: exploring, checking things out. Seeing things for the first time.
The way puppies run-hop when happily playing.
So much good stuff!

After practice, trials or just to go to town for dog food, and supplies....Glowing ads and fancy lights on the Mexican and Chinese places attract me no matter how tired I was or am..

I believe if you have never raised a working dog from a puppy you really arent a traininer,
The wealth of knowledge you gain from raising puppies is unmeasurable and with out that knowledge you really can,t understand the basics of your dogs thought process or drive issues.

Some of you know that this is my first schutzhund dog and I am having a blast so far raising and training! I like it all, not only my dog, but going to training on the weekend and seeing everyone elses dogs and the progress they are making. I just might get hooked on this schutzhund thing!!!!!!!!!
