Dear German Shepherd friends!
Searching the web for German Shepherds and there owners I found this board. Maybe I am wrong, but maybe some of you are interested in a book I got from my grandfather. It´s called " Der deutsche Schäferhund in Wort und Bild" written by M. von Stephanitz in 1923. It´s written in German.
I offer it in Ebay Germany right now, item no 290322571430.

True original book and in good condition? You should get a good amount of money for it.

Yes, it´s a true original book, no reprint. It´s from my grandpa.
Condition - It´s not looking like a new book, but nothing is missing or dirty. I put pictures on Ebay, that may help.

You are welcome. If so, as you stated... I'd say easily worth about 500 or 600 Euros.

It might be that you are not offering it to the right people. Ebay is very hit and miss, and "general public" might not care too much about an old book about dogs. Book collctors and GSD owners, breeders and enthusiasts are your target audience.

Go to GSD forums in Germany where gsd people hang out, or some sort of German GSD classifiends, you should have better luck there.

It's a 7th edition which really makes it just an old book. The estimated value of 500 to 600 Euromay be a little high. AbeBooks is selling a 7th Ed. for $107 and a 6th Ed. for $121.

I agree that posting it on a German forum might develop more interest. You might try www.schaeferhund.net or www.dsh-biz.de.
