Does anyone know where to buy a life vest for GSD to train in the water. I want to be safe.

Lots of places have life vests for dogs. I think Ruffwear makes the best vests and they can be found at www.ruffwear.com
There's a good search function and they call their life vests "float coats". If you prefer to buy from a store, there's a list of stores too.
The life vests with the handle on top are the best, I think, especially if you are boating.
