I see it has just another scam involving a lot of money, not about a puppy.
OGBS did not come here to discuss this, they came to advertise.

I'm with Moons on this one, although you can spend your money whereever you wish.  Is it kind to put a pup through all that surgery?  What is she doesn't survive?  Especially if she can get around fine as she is.

 Those pics of Maya near death after she was found look slick and healthier to me than the current ones don't you think?

Since I am the one who originally posted I'll chime in.
It is not a scam.
It was an e-mail that was sent to me because I am the co-founder of a rescue in Illinois.
The puppy was taken in to another rescue here in Illinois and in situations where rescues are in need of help they ask for it.
I felt bad for the pup, the surgery will help it and the vet that has offerred to do the surgery is doing it a greatly reduced rate, so, I posted it.

What I find amazing and crazy is people like Two Moons and Red Sable.
Two Moons, you always bring up the under-priveleged kids argument. There are a lot of great causes in this world. Are any more deserving than the next? That is up to the individual to decide, not you!
I knew when I posted this that the "ASSHOLES" would chime in. The two of you are who should be ashamed!

Two Moons you have been on this site for a little over two years. 417 days to be exact. 4402 posts in that amount of time. An average of 10.55 per day. Maybe you need a different hobby than the internet. That info is pretty much proof of a big L on your forehead.
You remind me of people that constantly bitch about a TV Show that they hate and can't believe it is kept on the air.
It's simple, if you don't like it, turn the channel.

I,m a stong advicate for trying to keep a viable animal alive . that being said this is a warm loveable pup for sure so if it were mine I,d go to my vet give her a kiss let the vet give her a injection and hold her till she is gone I,d cry a little and take her home and bury her because I did love her.
