Visited a club recently here in On. Canada.
I was relaxing with a coffee and watching the training.
All of a sudden the soft music that was playing in the club house was turned up so loud that it was annoying to the ears. I later learned the music was turned up becauese they did not want the visitors to hear the sqealing of the dogs, because of the elec.collars. I also learned this dog was shocked at full voltage for the length of the feild because he refused to do the send out. Okay here gang,do you agree or not on this. Is your pride more important then your dog?

In a thread a few weeks' back, I read that after a competition, one of the dog owners was abusing his dog for not performing well. Apparently, several people saw this happen and gave the owner some type of "shame-award." ?? I kept thinking "Why was this man not reported to the ASPCA?"

Every dog has a purpose and some excell at ScHH more then others. Persoanlly if my dog has problems after trying different training styles then I have to make the choice of training him or her in a different area or finding the dog a new home where it will be happier being it's self. But to force a animal is not my style I want my dogs to enjoy training and wanting to be with me. That is the love I have for my animals.
Personally if that was a club I was at I would not continue to train at the club. I could not sit by and watch that. To each is there own but that does not mean I have to see or be apart of it and would not want to support it.
