Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anybody knew some well bred GSD's from France, and what bloodlines would be in their
pedigree?
A friend of mine wanted to show me a stud dog that has been imported from France, and I just wanted to
know what to look for as far as names go in a pedigree,
Thanks in advance!

Working lines: du Val des Hurles Vent
My dog was bred in France and imported to the US in whelp.
You can search him on here under Ancil v Schmetterling

Thanks birdwing,
I guess she is still awaiting the paperwork for him.
Ancil is a great looking dog with many accomplishments

Thanks. He's a good boy, with a wonderful temperament. We call him our "Peter Pan" dog, because I doubt he'll ever "grow up". He's got great drive, very trainable, takes a correction well and deals with my mistakes in stride and the dog's bitework is very real with a great level of natural aggression. I couldn't ask for a nicer dog, plus, I think he's pretty to look at.
The kennel where he was bred in France, du Val des Hurles Vent, is very experienced and has a long history of French Ring and Mondio Ring dogs, excelling where German Shepherds usually do not.
I'd look at their website and their history/pedigrees and those French dogs would be the ones to look for...if you want "French lines"...
He also uses West German working lines too. My dog is 3-3 on Aly Vordersteinwald.
